Back in 2020, I was obsessed with a simple question: could a neural network paint like Kandinsky?

I'd been experimenting with early generative models (GANs, neural style transfer, VQGAN) trying to coax abstract art out of them. The results were overwhelmingly rough at first, but occasionally something beautiful would emerge. A color combination no human would think of, perhaps. Or a texture that felt "alive". I was hooked.

That obsession became 1SecondPainting.

The numbers still blow my mind: 230,000+ paintings generated. Thousands of canvases hanging in living rooms, offices, and hotel lobbies around the world! All from a project that started as one person tinkering with neural networks on a laptop.

The AI art landscape has evolved dramatically since we started. Our little corner of the internet served its purpose, and I couldn't be prouder of what we built together.

To every customer who hung one of our paintings on their wall, every curious visitor who clicked "Generate" just to see what would happen, and everyone who believed early on that AI could create something beautiful: thank you. You made this project worth every late night.
